Ford is bringing some holiday cheer to Mustang fans by announcing that the all-new seventh-generation 2024 Mustang will come with more horsepower across all engine options.
The 2024 Ford Mustang is set to be the most powerful iteration of the iconic muscle car yet, with a range of engine options that offer impressive horsepower and torque. The top of the line Mustang Dark Horse will come equipped with a uniquely engineered fourth-generation Coyote V8 engine that delivers a whopping 500 horsepower and 418 ft.-lb. of torque, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 Mustang ever.
All V8’s are getting a boost in power
The Mustang GT will offer up to 486 horsepower thanks to a new dual-throttle body design with an available active-valve performance exhaust system. The standard Mustang GT will still have a powerful 480 horsepower and 415 ft.-lb. of torque, the most standard power and torque in a naturally aspirated V8 Mustang.
But it’s not just the V8 engines that are getting a boost in power for the 2024 Mustang. The all-new EcoBoost model will feature an all-new turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 315 horsepower and 350 ft.-lb. of torque, the most standard horsepower ever offered in a four- or six-cylinder Mustang.

In addition to these V8 options, the all-new Mustang EcoBoost will feature an all-new turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine delivering 315 horsepower and 350 ft.-lb. of torque, the most standard horsepower ever in a four- or six-cylinder Mustang. All of these engines have been designed with Ford Performance know-how to deliver the most exhilarating driving experience yet.
