HID headlight Bulb Upgrade
HID headlights
The projector headlights come with just an H11 Halogen bulb that get overpowered by the lights of oncoming traffic making night driving very difficult.
The 6000 Kelvin replacement bulbs with 35W slim Ballasts increase visibility at night without worrying about melting the plastic headlight housing of the hotter 55W ballasts.
Leather OEM Steering Wheel
The original Prius THREE steering wheel is made from some type of hard rubber/plastic material that tends to deteriorate with prolonged use at around 150K miles. I’ve seen it happen on a few cars in that mileage range.
That’s why I couldn’t resist when I saw one of these leather wheels go for sale on the forum.
Unlike the Prius Three, the Prius Five came with a leather interior and a leather-wrapped steering wheel that also has a very luxurious cushioned feeling to it when you grab on.
