I decided to go with the Navy version of the Evolution Pant 2.0. They looks awesome, more like fancy chino’s than workout pants.
HAND FEEL
Soft to the touch, but still has a silky smooth jogger style feel to them with some heft reminiscent of a nicer dress pant. These are certainly stretchy and can stretch in almost any direction.
Looking at them, you wouldn’t mistake them for high end dress pants. You also wouldn’t mistake them for gym clothing, these are squarely in the business casual/casual sphere with an heir of class.

FIRST WEAR
My first impression of the WESTERN RISE EVOLUTION PANT 2.0 was these aren’t going to fit. You see, I ordered a 33 waist and haven’t worn a 33″ waist in a while (i.e. pandemic weight). However, my waist still measures 33″, just the hips/bum/thigh situation never really allowed a traditional 33W to make it all the way up to my waist. Luckily, they stretch so well, they pulled right up to my waist and I was able to button them without feeling like it was too tight.
They honestly feel like I’m walking around in fancy yoga pants. They stretch all over and allow me to do some of the craziest splits, bends, and stretches without feeling like it’s going to bust at the seams while still looking nice.
Travel Friendly
Lightweight
Whether it’s in your suitcase, in your carry on, or on your person, extra weight can slow you down and make traveling just a little bit more stressful as you hustle through security, run to the gate, grab some food, or just keeping your group together.
Packs Like A T-Shirt
Because it’s unlined and thin, it packs down almost as small as this Large T-shirt.
Huge Front Pocket
You know, that one small pocket on most pants that’s basically unusable, well this one is USABLE!
This pocket will fit a passport, which is huge for travel, but it will also fit your cell phone!

Final Thoughts
These pants have been finding themselves in my weekly rotation quite frequently. Whenever I find myself packing a weekend bag, this is the first pair I reach for to be part of my travel outfit. Just like wearing sweatpants, without the heft or the stigma.
